The Cоding Sectiоn оf the plаcement exаm will consist of а number of functions or methods that you will need to implement in your programming language of choice. You will receive the prompts and function descriptions here in Canvas, but you will submit a file of your code (either a .py or a .java file) to the appropriate Gradescope link below. You can download a skeleton file that will assist with formatting your responses. During the actual placement exam, you will have 45 minutes to submit a file to Gradescope with which you are comfortable. You may submit as many times as you want before time expires. For this section, you will still be unable to access any URLs (except Gradescope), but you can access any other applications on your testing device. Note that Honorlock can detect mischievous behavior, so do not abuse your application use privileges. We intend you to only use your desired IDE (either in Python or Java) to complete this portion of the placement exam. For the practice exam, we will give you a sample function to implement in either Python or Java. Note that the difficulty of this function is not representative of the difficulty of the functions you will need to implement in the actual placement exam. For your submission, comment out or delete all function calls. Only import statements, global variables, and comments are allowed to be outside of your functions. Printed statements must be reproduced exactly as they appear in the function descriptions. Double Printer Function Name: doubler()Parameters: phrase (Python - str / Java - string)Returns: Python - None / Java - voidDescription: Given a phrase as input, write a function called doubler() that simply prints the phrase twice, on separate lines. Test Case: >>> doubler("CS 1301") CS 1301 CS 1301 When your file is submitted, unit test cases will be performed to determine your score for this section. Note that there is no partial credit for failed test cases. As a reminder, you may submit as many times as you like before time expires. As a suggestion, try also submitting files with incorrectly implemented functions, so you can see what output is given when a test case is failed. This may help in interpreting failed test cases during the actual placement exam. Note: You MUST name the file you are submitting either PRACTICE.py or PRACTICE.java for this practice quiz.
