Unfortunately, Mr. Reynolds was awoken at 6:15 am and was told that they needed to insert a catheter as part of his surgical prep. Luckily, Mr. Reynolds communicated that he was not having surgery, and the mistake was discovered before it escalated. Beth was in the staff lounge when the attending physician entered, telling her that he had just received an incident report from the day shift nurse detailing the issue, and wanted to hear what she had to say. “Nothing happened to the guy.
