Fоr Quizzes/Exаms given thrоugh Cаnvаs, the instructоr will be utilizing "HonorLock" and/or "Log Auditing.” HonorLock will only work 100% properly with Chrome on a Chromebook. It may not work with the Chrome Browser on an Apple device. It WILL NOT work with any other internet browser, or on a mobile device. Therefore, I know I MUST take my quiz/exam using Chrome, else risk failing that quiz/exam. Once I begin the exam, I know I cannot leave the quiz page for any reason. The program will tell the instructor I left the page and the instructor will assume it is to look up an answer on another browser. If this occurs, I will receive Zero Points on the quiz/exam. The instructor recommends placing your browser in full screen mode to prevent accidentally clicking out of the quiz page. Furthermore, I know that Chrome extensions are NOT permitted and may prevent me from taking my quiz/exam or result in me receiving a score of zero after I have taken it. Also note, if anything obstructs the instructor's view of my monitor when taking a quiz/exam, I will be asked to remove the obstruction (Including: screen protectors, hats, beanies, and/or* hoodies). I have reviewed the information provided to me by my instructor about HonorLock and understand the system requirements to make this function.
