Farmland continues to undergo rapid changes as erosion, climate change, and inefficient irrigation systems contribute to the annual destruction of millions of acres of productive cropland. Additionally, the expansion of cities and suburban areas leads to the loss of even more land. In response to these pressing agricultural issues, various strategies have been developed and promoted.
