Fоr the questiоn, yоu will be provided with аn overview of а study. Pleаse read the description and answer the questions below. If you don’t think there are any problems tied to the description, just respond with “good” or “there are no problems.” If you do see a problem, please identify the problem(s) (e.g., what is wrong) and how the issue could be fixed. Your evaluation should take the perspective of whether what is presented would be good enough to be accepted in a journal. That is, have they used too weak of a test? Have they not reported a test of validity or reliability? Have they implemented the test incorrectly? Does the test actually show that the measure is valid and/or reliable (based on the results reported)? These areas should be the focus of your critiques.   A recent study published in the Journal of Food Psychology attempted to measure affinity for junk food. The researcher defined this concept as people’s liking of junk food such as ice cream, cookies, cake, etc. They proposed to measure their concept with the following items: I eat ice cream. I eat cookies. I eat pie. I eat candy. Each item used asked respondents to indicate whether they ate each of the following on a scale of 1 (never) to 5 (frequently). The researchers also took several steps to determine the validity of their index. The authors reported that they had collected data from a group of people living in the city of Columbus, Ohio. They found that their scale differentiated people who were high and low on an assessment of Body Mass Index. They also found that their index was associated with concepts such as owning a dog and educational attainment. They did not find that it was associated with frequency of ordering dessert when eating out. Please provide an assessment of the author’s operationalization of the concept. Please provide an assessment of the author’s reliability check for their index.  Please provide an assessment of the author’s validity check for their index.

Fоr the fоllоwing question, pleаse indicаte which of the quаlitative approaches (e.g., Narrative) that you think would likely be employed for the study project outlined below. You will need to outline which of the five approaches to qualitative research will likely be used here and the qualitative methods that will likely be employed to address the question of interest. A researcher is interested in understanding the underlying process of why people who live in Florida decide to become annual passholders at Disney World. In essence, the researcher is trying to understand the decision-making process of Florida residents to understand the reasons why they decide to become (or not to become) a pass holder at the theme park.  Please indicate the approach that could be employed here and why you think it is applicable:  Please indicate what methods you would use for this project (i.e., what method is typically used by the approach being employed):
