Welcоme tо the Midterm Reseаrch Activity AssessmentYоu will tаke the аssessment in one setting. The assessment is proctored. This assessment is divided into three sections:Descriptive Statistics: In this section you will be provided the scenario and data set to complete all the analysis for the whole assessment. You will then be tasked with completing various descriptive statistics and graphical procedures.Hint 1: You will want to take time to become familiar with your data - and be very clear about what each variable is. For example, you will have measures taken more than one time (ex: depression score before the program, depression score after the program, depression score three months after the program). So take time to make sure you label the variables and know what each variable is measuring.Hint 2: You will not use all the variables in your data set. You will be randomly assigned variables to analyze for the different procedures - so you will not use all the variables.Research Investigations: Here you will be conducting six research investigations by either answering a provided research question or investigation scenario.Synthesis and Conclusions: Here you will run any needed additional analysis in order to provide a comprehensive summary and recommendations. We will be looking for your ability to critically evaluate all the analysis you completed as well as identify other analysis you would need to conduct to better understand the research problem and results.Reporting/Write-Ups: Good news! Unlike in your research practice activities where you added all your write-up by adding a text box to the output - you can just report your findings within the provided essay response boxes for each item. However, make sure your output clearly marks the titles for each analysis so we can locate the corresponding output to match your write-up.Very Important Notices:You will submit your completed, cleaned up output under Additional Content at the very end of the assessment. You must submit both the PDF and SPV file. If you do not submit BOTH file types, your assessment will not be graded. You must include the NOTES section of your output that includes the full file path name, date/timestamp, etc. - same as shown in the RA2 Key and as discussed in the Module 3 meeting. Output without the Notes will result in your assessment not being graded. You are responsible for maintaining sharing with the proctor, for maintaining continuous internet connection, and for troubleshooting spss. You are responsible for documenting and reporting any BB outages or technical difficulties to Lamar's BB helpdesk. You must submit your required output attachments before the time expires, otherwise your assessment will not be graded. And no panicking! You can use all your resources - except people resources! Remember - you have practiced this! We believe in you! You can do this!!Data Source: Pallant, J. (2020).
