Study Strаtegy Guide This study strаtegy is а great starting pоint fоr preparing fоr any type of assessment (quiz, midterm, final, etc.). It's considered the minimum you should do: Daily Homework: Memorize and understand all concepts, ideas, and information in your Study Guide. Don’t just read it repeatedly—define the bold terms and explain them as if teaching someone else. Use PowerPoints alongside your notes to help visualize and retain information. Lab and Lecture Integration: Study what you learned in the labs and understand how it relates to lecture material. PowerPoint Review: Use your PowerPoints as review tools. Ask yourself the purpose of each image or slide, and understand key points, such as the types of leukocytes and their differences. Unique Information: Pay attention to unique or special information discussed in lectures that may not be in the Study Guide or PowerPoints. Reviewing this material will be easier if you’ve already covered the basics. Comprehensive Understanding: Don’t skip anything you don’t understand. Look for different explanations in the book, ask classmates, instructors, or search online. Make a list of confusing terms or concepts and seek help. Exam Review: After taking an exam, review it to prepare for future assessments, as they often include questions from previous tests. Understand the correct answers to any questions you missed. Be mindful that quizzes and exams can only be viewed with your instructor OUTSIDE of class hours.  Commitment to Learning: Don’t try to game the grading system. Use all the tools provided in the course and approach it with the intent to learn and understand everything. With this mindset, good grades will follow naturally from your hard work and expanded knowledge.   I have read, understood, and agreed to the Study Strategy Guide.
