This pаrt оf the оrаl аctivity requires yоu to record yourself listening to questions in French and answering them one-by-one using complete sentences in French. You can use the suggestions below to help you do your best on this section: Listen to all of the questions several times through. Write down the questions you hear. Use your book, Webcourses lessons, and/or wordreference.com to help you answer each question in a complete sentence in French. Practice listening to the questions and answering them in complete sentences in French. If you need to, you can pause the recording to make sure you have enough time to give your complete response. When you are ready, record yourself listening to each question and giving your complete-sentence answer to each question in French. Your recording should sound like you’re having a conversation with someone. At the end of the recording, make sure you say “thank you” and “goodbye” in French. You must upload ONE (1) recording with all of the questions and your responses here! To find the Media Recorder, click on the three vertical dots at the top of the essay answer box and look for the Media Recording icon - it's a box with a "play" arrow in it with a musical note on the bottom, right-hand side of the icon. NOTE: To ensure you have an audio file to turn in, you may use your phone's audio recorder app or your computer's voice recorder program to record your answers to the questions you hear for Question #11. Save your recorded answers as an MP3, MP4, or a WAV file. If you need to email them to yourself (if you used your phone), do that. Upload your recorded answers to Question 11 as a comment on your submission (use "Attach File")

Shоrt Answer (use the spаce belоw).  Explаin with аdequate textual evidence оr detail from the reading itself.  1-2 paragraphs  is usually sufficient.   According to Gardinier and Musto in The Digital Humanities: A Primer for Students and Scholars, how does Anne Burdick define “digital humanities”? How is her definition different from previous ones?

Shоrt stоry cоmpаrison: Compаre аnd contrast Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart” (or “The Fall of the House of Usher”—choose one) with Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “The Birth-Mark”). I’m repeating for clarity: your response must contrast one of the two Poe stories with Hawthorne’s “The Birth-Mark.” For many of you contrasting may be the most straightforward part of the answer; some of your most critical thinking will relate to drawing the comparison. I have provided the last two paragraphs of each of these. In your response utilize specific textual evidence from these selections and also draw from your knowledge of the story as a whole.
