In 2022, he was treated for "gum disease" by a dentist at a private practice in Pretoria North. Medical history: The patient is both asthmatic and diabetic. Allergies: Allergic to Latex products Blood pressure: 130/89 mmHg List of medications: Metformin 500mg and Asthavent 100 mcg inhaler. Extra-oral examination No significant findings. The patient had no masses or swelling, and the temporomandibular joint was within normal limits. Intra-oral examination The soft tissues of the mouth (except the gingival tissues) including the tongue appeared normal.
