Lаrry is а heаlth inspectоr in the City оf Richmоnd. A new bar named "The Drunken Clam" has opened up in The Fan. One of the bar's frequent patrons is a City of Richmond police officer named Joe Swanson. Joe is friends with Larry, and he tells Larry about "The Drunken Clam." Larry is finicky and would never patronize a restaurant or bar he does not know is clean. One afternoon Larry makes a surprise visit at The Drunken Clam. He marches in and flashes his Health Inspector badge, using it as his authority to enter unchallenged into this privately owned restaurant. He marches into the back of the restaurant into the kitchen, pushes open the kitchen door, then stops in shock and almost as a heart attack as he sees what's inside; endangered pandas are being butchered to be served as the daily lunch special! He runs out of the restaurant and calls the police. The police arrive with a warrant to search the place and other warrants to arrest the owner and workers who are engaged in the illegal panda slaughtering. At trial, the defense attorney makes a motion to suppress the panda meat evidence found inside. He points out that Larry did not have a warrant, so anything derived from this illegal search of the kitchen should be suppressed as fruits of the poisonous tree. Is the evidence admissible?
