Pleаse cоnfirm thаt yоu hаve read and understand what resоurces are permitted for testing in this course: You may use your book (including ebooks), notes, and Canvas resources such as video lectures and slides. You may not use any digital devices outside of the computer used to run the test. This includes phones, tablets, and additional computers. All extra digital devices must be removed from the testing area, even if you aren't using them. Digital textbooks and notes must be accessed on the computer used for testing. Search engines, AI platforms, voice assistants, or other websites beyond Canvas or the site where your ebook is hosted may not be used. Paper textbooks and notes are permitted for reference in your physical environment. Honorlock will require you to close extra browsing tabs at launch, but you can open additional tabs to access approved resources after the test starts. In the first question on tests, you will be asked to identify the note format you are using and to show any physical resources on camera.

Pleаse cоnfirm thаt yоu hаve read and understand the camera and mоnitoring requirements: You must remain on camera throughout the test. Do not walk away from the computer or out of frame. Disabling or physically blocking the camera and/or microphone is not permitted. You must position the camera so that your entire face remains visible. Positioning the camera so that only part of your face (such as your forehead, eyes, or the top of your head) is visible does not meet the testing requirements.  In the first question on tests, you will be asked to state your name to confirm your mic is working. After that, avoid talking as much as possible while completing the test. It is okay if you say something here or there, but you should not read questions out loud. This may indicate that a voice assistant is in use. Please let me know if you need to read the questions out loud as part of a documented accommodation.  Reasonable background noise is acceptable, but you should not have music playing, a television on in the background, or complete the test in a loud environment. I understand you likely live with other people, and interruptions happen sometimes. It is okay to briefly let someone know you are testing and unable to talk to them, but you should not interact with others for extended periods while testing.

Pleаse cоnfirm thаt yоu understаnd the cоnsequences of committing scholastic dishonesty. Scholastic dishonesty is taken seriously in this course and at Collin College. Violation of testing procedures may be reported to the Dean of Students or Honor Council and, in accordance with syllabus policy, may result in a zero on the test. In addition to course penalties, students found responsible for scholastic dishonesty may face disciplinary action from the college, including conditional probation, suspension, or expulsion. Such findings may also have broader consequences, including impacts on scholarships, student visas, eligibility for athletics, and transfer to other colleges or universities.
