DG: Hоnоrlоck Expectаtions  Pleаse reаd the following Honorlock Expectations: Exam Session Take your exam in one session unless you have specific accommodations. If asked for a Room Scan, be sure to take a slow and clear recording of your desk/tabletop when you are testing so your teacher can see your work area is clear of distractions. Keep the microphone, camera, tripod, and screen sharing settings of your session on and unchanged throughout the activity. Resources No external resources, except those provided or permitted by your teacher, are allowed on this activity. External Camera + Tripod Please follow the instructions to set up your side-angle camera using  this guide. Position the webcam just in front of your shoulder (10 o’clock or 2 o’clock) with at least an arm's length from you. Have a clear view of your keyboard, mouse, permitted resources, desktop/work area and computer screen. Be sure you (your torso and head's profile) and BOTH of your hands remain in view at all times. Be sure BOTH sides of your workspace (left and right sides of your computer) remain in view. Use the "Webcam" button in your Honorlock test to check your setup and SAW view. Be sure it looks like this: Students must complete proctored assessments silently. Reading questions or answers aloud is not permitted unless the student has an approved accommodation that specifically allows this testing practice.   Students must complete proctored assessments silently. Ensure that you sit upright, your workspace and attire are appropriate, and your environment is as distraction-free as possible. Be sure to have music, TVs, and phones off during your testing session. Please ask friends and family not to converse with you during your test. If You Have Accommodations... Students with Accommodations, please meet with your teacher early in the year to review your accommodations and ensure proper understanding. If you have any concerns regarding accommodations or would like to apply for accommodations, please reach out to your dean immediately.  Speech/Text: If you will be testing with Speech-to-Text/Text-to-Speech, please initiate a live chat with Honorlock Support (bottom right corner) during authentication to ensure the accommodation is successfully supported when starting your exam. Honorlock Support will assist with launching your proctored exam and confirm your speech-to-text and/or Browser Guardian is dis/enabled. If You Have Technical Issues... If you have trouble, please connect to Honorlock support by clicking the blue button with the speech bubble. They will help and document your attempt to correct the situation. Tell the support agent you are done with the test and are having trouble submitting your work. They will help you momentarily bypass the blocking program Honorlock uses to get your file uploaded properly. Remember: You are expected to make every effort to turn your work in before the exam closes. If your work is not uploaded during the exam, your teacher will contact you. If you know that there was a problem, email your teacher immediately and describe the situation and the steps that you took to correct it. Your teacher will consult the recording and Honorlock Support Log. Your proactivity and ability to explain your actions will ensure that the instance is not viewed as an Honor Code violation.  Have you read all of the information on this page?
