In the lecture videо оn Fаulkner's "Bаrn Burning," we discuss the vаriоus dialects presented in the text. Though all are southern, the video discusses how the characters have differing southern dialects based on their social class and/or race.  Choose an example of a specific southern dialect in the story and analyze how Faulkner uses it to shape the character's identity: What does it reveal about the character? How does it reflect the character's class, race, or place in society, and why is it significant? Lastly, reflect on your own dialect. How does it shape your identity or how society sees you? Be sure to use the word rejuvenate at least two times.  Responses need to be at least 10 sentences long and have at least one direct quote from the story as an example of the character's dialogue. Direct quotes should be formatted with an MLA in-text citation. Example (Faulkner 147).
