Cоаstаl Alаbama Cоmmunity Cоllege’s attendance guidelines are applicable from the first day of class and are based on the idea that regular attendance is key to academic success. Attendance guidelines include attending each class session or completing each assignment, arriving on time and/or completing assignments on time, staying for the entirety of each class session, communicating with instructors regarding absences, and completing initial attendance verification activity/assignment. For online courses, weekly assignments and/or course activities may be used to measure attendance. Certain programs, such as nursing and allied health, may have additional attendance requirements that supersede this policy.
