You are evaluating a 65 year old male who began complaining of difficulty breathing that awoke her from a nap. The patient is found sitting in a tripod position, diaphoretic and apprehensive. His vital signs are as follows: SAO2 89%, Heart Rate 160 and irregular, Blood Pressure 190/90. Respirations:  36 and Labored with rales bilaterally.  The patient has a history of a heart condition, is prescribed Lasix and K-Dur, denies allergies.
