También realizaron huelgas de hambre y corrieron sin parar (nonstop) durante 1.800 horas alrededor del Palacio de la Moneda, que es la sede del Poder Ejecutivo chileno. En muchas ocasiones, el gobierno les exigió que dejaran de manifestarse. Hubo represiones, pero los estudiantes siguieron su lucha. No iban a parar (give up) hasta que los escucharan. No hay duda de que tanto esfuerzo valió la pena.
