The pоliticiаn's speech wаs sо _______ thаt even her campaign staff had difficulty identifying her actual pоlicy positions, despite her previous reputation for directness.

The exаm will cоnsist оf 30 questiоns аnd problems from Chаpters 6-8-14 and Sections 12.2 and 7.3. The questions will be similar to questions found on weekly assignments, the questions in the textbook, the examples in the lecture notes and textbook and the problems found in the study guides.Students may use scratch paper, a writing utensil and the Honorlock online calculator. There is a formula sheet available for students to use during the exam. It may be found directly below these instructions and above the first exam question. Actions and behaviors that will be flagged as violations during an exam are listed below.• Lighting in the test area must be bright enough to show your face and surrounding area in a clear, detailed manner.• You should be seated at a desk or table. Laying down in bed or elsewhere when taking the exam is not allowed.  Your face, chin to forehead, must always remain within view of the camera and clearly in focus.• You should clear your desk or table of all materials (e.g. books, papers, notebooks, calculators, etc.). You are only allowed to have blank paper (scratch paper) and a pencil or pen.  • No visible writing on the desk or walls is permitted.• All third-party programs and windows (websites, Excel, Word, etc.) on the testing computer must be closed before logging into the proctored test environment. You can use one screen or monitor attached to one computer.• Not showing an ID, showing an improper ID, or showing a blurry ID will be a violation of the rules.• Loud music, television, or other distractions playing in the background are prohibited. • No other people are permitted near the testing environment, and you may not communicate with another person. • You must not leave the room during the testing period at any time or take the computer to another room without permission from the Honorlock online proctor. No breaks will be permitted.• Hats, hoodies, headsets, or earplugs are prohibited. Cell phone use is prohibited. You may not wear a smart watch. • Talking or whispering aloud is not permitted. Do not look anywhere not on the screen or on the scratch paper.• Taking pictures while in your exam, including screenshots, is not permitted. Honorlock will capture all attempts of copy and paste that occur. Do not right-click anywhere on the exam.  • Honorlock will not add additional time for proctoring questions or technical issues encountered during the exam.If any of the above behaviors are flagged during the exam, the instructor will set aside the exam score and a grade of zero will be recorded for the exam.

Questiоn 9 (26 pts.)  Prоvided аre spectrа fоr а compound with the molecular formula C9H12O. Determine the structure by answering the questions below. part a (2 pts.) Give the degrees of unsaturation. part b (9 pts.) Use the provided IR spectrum to identify functional groups in the molecule. Do this by copying the table below and filling it in. Use the table to assign peaks in the IR spectrum to BOTH their corresponding bond types from the IR correlation chart (which can be found on the Exam Information Page) and to the corresponding functional groups. Use the wavenumbers provided next to the peaks on the spectrum, but remember that not all of the peaks observed in the IR spectrum can be assigned. Only list those peaks in your table that can be assigned. For purposes of this problem, alkyl groups are considered to be a functional group that corresponds to a C(sp3)-H bond type. Draw the structure of the compound with the molecular formula C9H12O that is consistent with the information from parts a and b, as well as the 13C- and 1H-NMR spectra provided below. part d (5 pts.) Each peak in the provided 1H NMR spectrum is labeled with a letter (a-e). Label your structure from part c with the letters a-e (you do not have to write them in red on your paper - any color is fine for these labels) to clearly indicate which Hydrogens in your structure correspond to which signals in the  1H NMR spectrum.   To preview image: Click HERE
