During the afternoon shift, a worker named David Nguyen was grinding the edge of a steel frame when a spark ignited nearby cardboard packaging materials. The fire spread quickly to stored flammable solvents on a lower shelf. David used a portable fire extinguisher to put out most of the flames before the fire department arrived.No injuries occurred, but there was minor property damage, and the area was temporarily shut down. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the flammable storage cabinet was blocked by excess materials, preventing proper use, and the extinguishers had not been inspected for several months.
