Acаdemic integrity is essentiаl tо mаintaining an envirоnment that fоsters excellence in teaching, research, and other educational and scholarly activities. Thus, The Ohio State University and the Committee on Academic Misconduct (COAM) expect that all students have read and understood the University's Code of Student Conduct and that all students will complete all academic and scholarly assignments fairly and honestly. Students must recognize that failure to follow the rules and guidelines established in the University's Code of Student Conduct (https://trustees.osu.edu/bylaws-and-rules/codeLinks to an external site.) and this syllabus may constitute Academic Misconduct (https://oaa.osu.edu/academic-integrity-and-misconductLinks to an external site.) The Ohio State University's Code of Student Conduct (Section 3335-23-04) defines academic misconduct as Any activity that tends to compromise the academic integrity of the University or subvert the educational process. Examples of academic misconduct include (but are not limited to) plagiarism, collusion (unauthorized collaboration), copying another student's work, and possession of unauthorized materials during an examination. Ignorance of the University's Code of Student Conduct is never considered an excuse for academic misconduct, so I recommend you review the Code of Student Conduct and, specifically, the sections dealing with academic misconduct. If I suspect a student has committed academic misconduct in this course, I am obligated by University Rules to report my suspicions to the Committee on Academic Misconduct. If COAM determines that you have violated the University's Code of Student Conduct (i.e., committed academic misconduct), the sanctions for the misconduct could include a failing grade in this course and suspension or dismissal from the University. USE OF GENERATIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (e.g., ChatGPT) To maintain a culture of integrity and respect, generative AI tools should not be used to complete this exam. You may not use AI-generated content or use generative AI in any form for the completion of this exam. If you do so, this will be considered academic misconduct. Again, to emphasize the key point: you may not submit work that is word-for-word use and/or paraphrasing of writing, ideas, or other work that is not your critical thinking and application. To indicate that you understand the expectations of academic integrity for the completion of this exam, enter your first and last name in the essay box provided.

This is Exаm One fоr BUSMHR 2500 Fоundаtiоns of Entrepreneurship. The concepts covered in this exаm have been taken from Sage Vantage Chapter Quizzes and Lecture Slides. This exam covers Chapters 1-8, which have been covered in class and assigned as homework. This exam is worth 25% of your overall grade. You will draw 25 questions from a larger pool of questions that combine easy, medium, and more challenging questions, including T/F, multiple-choice, and short-answer questions. The questions are designed to test your conceptual understanding and fundamental principles of this class, taken from class lectures, readings, and chapter quizzes. The exam is open for 24 hours, starting at 12:00 a.m. US Eastern time on October 2nd and closing at 11:59 p.m. US Eastern time on October 2nd. You must open and complete the exam within that time frame, or you will receive no credit. Answer the questions as presented one at a time. Once you answer a question and advance to the next question, you can't go back. Once you click on to open the exam, you have 60 minutes to complete it. SLDS accommodation students have the extra time allotted according to their accommodations. Moreover, this timeframe includes the Honorlock-related student integrity requirements. A few comments about the use of Honorlock: Honorlock requires a Chrome browser running on either a Mac or a PC with a webcam and a microphone. Do not use a smart tablet or a smartphone. This has been outlined in the syllabus requirements as a baseline for this course, so it should not be new information. Honorlock requires you to scan the room in a 360-degree view before you start the exam. This means you complete a 360 of the work surfaces, not the ceiling or floor. You may not have a phone, a second screen, a tablet, or any paper on your desk surface, or near where you're working. You must turn the PC or Laptop camera and microphone ON, and leave them on for the duration of the exam. The browser will be locked down. You may only have the browser tab open for the exam itself. You should close all other applications, tabs, and browser windows. If you move to another tab, access other course pages, an Internet search engine, Office 365, or any other application, this will be flagged as an Honorlock violation. No copy and paste operations are allowed. Stopping and restarting the exam is not allowed, nor is leaving the room and returning. If your SLDS accommodation includes the requirement to leave the examination frequently during your exam, please see me so that we can make specific arrangements for you to take the exam that accommodates your needs. Good luck!
