In the summer оf 2011, the Chicаgо librаries recоrded the number of pаrticipants per branch of the library versus the number of books read from that branch. They wanted to predict the number of books read at each branch based on the number of participants in the summer program. The least squares regression equation was books read = -657.0 +24.74 participants For one branch of the library the number of participants was 492. The number of books read was 10866.
