The therapy was successful.  John became a cancer survivor despite living with late effects such as fatigue, pain, wheeze, shortness of breath, anxiety.  His PCS and MCS scores went up to 53 and 56, respectively. ­­ What is this phenomena called?  This phenomena clearly introduces bias in our HRQOL measurement.  When will this phenomena happen?
