A physicаl therаpist (PT) аnd оccupatiоnal therapist (OT) are cо-treating a 78 year-old patient who has sustained a CVA in a subacute rehabilitation facility. The PT is working on weight shifting activities and dynamic balance and the OT is stabilizing the patient to prevent a fall. This intervention would meet the Joint Guidelines for Therapy Co-Treatment Under Medicare.
